Der 19. Psalm

Die Himmel rufen, jeder ehret die Größe Gottes, seine Pracht. Die ausgespannte Feste lehret die Werke, die sein Arm gemacht; und aller Welten Harmonie verkündigt und besinget sie. Es strömt von einem Tag zum andern, gleich Bächen, ihre Rede fort, und eine Nacht erzählt der andern laut ihr gedankenvolles Wort. Es sind nicht Sprachen, die sie spricht; doch wer hört ihre Stimme nicht? Die Ordnung kunsterfüllter Kreise verherrlicht Gott durch jedes Land, und macht, damit der Mensch ihn preise, sein Lob der fernsten Welt bekannt; denn wer sieht ihre Wunderbahn, und betet nicht den Schöpfer an?
