Lakodalom

Ancsurka, a ládád
már szekérre rakták,
vánkosod föltették:
Megva a kelengyéd.
 
Ebből a faluból
másikba kell menni,
sógorral, komával
öszszeismerkedni.
 
Ládád jávorfából,
vánkosod pehelyből;
helyre lány vagy, Ancsa,
mégsincs szeretőd.
 
Szeretőd ha nincs is,
hites urad lészen,
nem fogsz elhervadni,
mint rózsa a réten.
 
„Rózsa vagyok, rózsa,
amig nincsen uram;
ha már uram lészen,
rózsa lehull rólam.“
 
Isten veled, Ancsa!
Ezt se hitted volna:
Mi innét elmegyünk
s itt hagyunk magadba.

Annette, tes caisses
sont déjà chargées sur la charrette,
les oreillers sont chargés ;
il y a ton trousseau.

Depuis ce village
tu dois aller à un autre,
pour rencontrer mon frère
et ma sœur.

Des caisses d'érable,
Des oreillers remplis de plumes,
Tu es une jolie jeune fille, Annette,
et tu n'as pas d'amoureux.

Si tu l'aimes,
il sera doux avec toi,
tu ne te faneras pas
comme les roses dans le pré.

Je suis une rose, une rose,
tant que je n'ai pas de mari ;
quand j'aurai un mari,
les pétales tomberont.

Dieu soit avec toi, Annette !
tu t'es fait avoir.
Tu dois partir,
et nous laisser ici.
