Cóż tak bracie wciąż dumacie? Bierz tam smutki czart! Pełno nędzy Ot, pij prędzej, świat ten diabła wart! Piane nogi zbłądzą z drogi, Cóż za wielki srom? Krzykiem żony rozbudzony Trafisz gdzie twój dom. Pij, lub kijem się pobijem! Biegnij dziewczę w czas, By pogodzić, nie zaszkodzić, Oblej miodem nas!

Wie mein Blut erglüht! Freund, was sinnst du? Kummer spinnst du! Was ward dir vergällt? Lass das Denken uns ertränken! Was schert uns die Welt? Unsre Pfade sind nicht gerade, machen nichts uns draus! Weibchen schmäht wohl, stellt zur Red' wohl, führt mich doch nach Haus. Laßt uns raufen, Hauf' und Haufen! Oder trinkt mit Macht! Gerad' ins Glas mir füll' das Nass mir! Mädchen, gute Nacht!
