A tu lejesz miód na kaftan mój!

Nie daruję, wycałuję!
Jakie oczko, brew!
Nóżki małe, ząbki białe,
Hej! spali mnie krew!

Cóż tak bracie wciąż dumacie?
Bierz tam smutki czart!
Pełno nędzy
Ot, pij prędzej, świat ten diabła wart!

Piane nogi zbłądzą z drogi,
Cóż za wielki srom?
Krzykiem żony rozbudzony
Trafisz gdzie twój dom.

Pij, lub kijem się pobijem!
Biegnij dziewczę w czas,
By pogodzić, nie zaszkodzić,
Oblej miodem nas!

Quel œil, quel sourcil !
Petits pieds, dents blanches,
Hé ! Mon sang brûle !

Eh bien, mon frère, à quoi penses-tu ?
Que les chagrins aillent au diable !
Il y a de la misère partout, 
Buvons plutôt, que nous importe ce monde !

Nos jambes ivres errent sur la route,
Quelle belle affaire !
Réveillé par les cris de ta femme, 
Tu retrouveras ta maison.

À boire, ou tu vas avoir du bâton,
Ma fille, vas-y, cours,
Pour nous réconcilier, pas pour faire du mal,
Nous manquons d'hydromel.
