Vier Gedichte zu den Jahreszeiten von Eduard Mörike

Song Cycle by Günter Klinzing (b. 1930)

Word count: 148

1. Er ist's! [sung text not yet checked]

[Frühling]1 läßt sein blaues Band
Wieder flattern durch die Lüfte;
Süße, wohlbekannte Düfte
Streifen ahnungsvoll das Land.
Veilchen träumen schon,
Wollen balde kommen.
Horch, [von fern ein leiser]2 Harfenton!
Frühling, ja du bist's!
Dich hab ich vernommen!

2. Auf ein altes Bild [sung text not yet checked]

In grüner Landschaft Sommerflor,
Bei kühlem Wasser, Schilf, und Rohr,
Schau, wie das Knäblein Sündelos
Frei spielet auf der Jungfrau Schoß!
Und dort im Walde wonnesam,
Ach, grünet schon des Kreuzes Stamm!

3. Septembermorgen [sung text not yet checked]

[Im Nebel ruhet noch die Welt,
Noch träumen]1 Wald und Wiesen:
Bald siehst du, wenn der Schleier fällt,
Den blauen Himmel unverstellt,
Herbstkräftig die gedämpfte Welt
Im [warmem]2 Golde fließen.

3. Auf eine Christblume II [sung text not yet checked]

Im Winterboden schläft ein Blumenkeim
der Schmetterling, der einst um Busch und Hügel
in Frühlingsnächten wiegt den sammt'nen Flügel;
nie soll er kosten deinen Honigseim.

Wer aber weiß, ob nicht sein zarter Geist,
wenn jede Zier des Sommers hingesunken,
dereinst, von deinem leisen Duftetrunken,
mir unsichtbar, dich blühende umkreist?
