Quan es fa fosc, el capvespre d’estiu s’estén
damunt els boscos i els prats verds;
al cel blau, la lluna daurada
resplendeix, amb una flaire refrescant.

El grill canta al rierol,
i quelcom es belluga a l’aigua,
el caminant sent un xipolleig
i un alenar en el silenci.

Allà, tota sola al rierol,
la formosa nàiade es banya,
els braços i el bescoll, blancs i encisadors,
brillen a la llum de la lluna.
