Italian (Italiano) translations of Sechs Lieder, opus 6

by Ludwig Hartmann (1836 - 1910)

Return to the original list

1. Sterne mit den gold'nen Füßchen  [sung text not yet checked]
by Ludwig Hartmann (1836 - 1910), "Sterne mit den gold'nen Füßchen", op. 6 (Sechs Lieder) no. 2
Language: German (Deutsch)
   Sterne mit den goldnen Füßchen,
Wandeln droben bang und sacht,
Daß sie nicht die Erde wecken
Die da schläft im Schoß der Nacht.

   Horchend stehn die stummen Wälder,
Jedes Blatt ein grünes Ohr!
Und der Berg, wie träumend streckt er
Seinen Schattenarm hervor.

Doch was rief [dort]1? In mein Herze
Dringt der Töne Widerhall.
War es der Geliebten Stimme,
Oder [nur]2 die Nachtigall?

1. Stelle dalle zampette d'oro
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Stelle dalle zampette d'oro,
vanno in giro lassù, timide e soavi,
per non destare la terra
che dorme nel grembo della notte.

Stanno in ascolto i boschi taciti,
ogni foglia è un verde orecchio!
E la montagna come in sogno stende
in avanti il suo braccio d'ombra.

Ma che cosa chiama? Nel mio cuore
arriva un'eco di questi suoni.
Era la voce dell'amata,
o soltanto l'usignolo?

2. Das ist ein Brausen und Heulen  [sung text not yet checked]
by Ludwig Hartmann (1836 - 1910), "Das ist ein Brausen und Heulen", op. 6 (Sechs Lieder) no. 4
Language: German (Deutsch)
Das ist ein Brausen und Heulen,
Herbstnacht und Regen und Wind;
Wo mag wohl jetzo weilen
Mein armes, banges Kind?

Ich seh' sie am Fenster lehnen
Im einsamen Kämmerlein;
Das Auge gefüllt mit Tränen,
Starrt sie in die Nacht hinein.

2. E' tutto uno scroscio e un mugghiare
Language: Italian (Italiano)
E' tutto uno scroscio e un mugghiare,
notte autunnale di pioggia e di vento;
che farà in questo momento
la mia povera, impaurita bambina?

Me la immagino alla finestra,
tutta sola nella sua cameretta;
i suoi occhi sono colmi di pianto,
scruta assorta questa notte di vento.

by Ludwig Hartmann (1836 - 1910), "Ich stand in dunkeln Träumen", op. 6 (Sechs Lieder) no. 5
Language: German (Deutsch)
Ich stand in [dunkeln]1 Träumen
Und [starrte]2 ihr Bildniß an,
Und das geliebte Antlitz
Heimlich zu leben begann.

Um ihre Lippen zog sich
Ein Lächeln wunderbar,
Und wie von Wehmuthsthränen
[Erglänzte]3 [ihr]4 Augenpaar.

Auch meine Thränen flossen
Mir von [den Wangen]5 herab --
Und ach, ich [kann es]6 nicht glauben,
Daß ich Dich verloren hab'!

3. Immagine di lei
Language: Italian (Italiano)
Stavo in oscuri sogni
e mi guardò la sua immagine,
e il viso amato
prese misteriosamente vita.

Sulle sue labbra apparve
un sorriso meraviglioso
e come di lacrime di nostalgia
luccicarono i suoi occhi.

Anche a me le lacrime
scesero giù sulle guance...
- ah, che non posso credere
di averti perduta!
