Љуба је иреча, него сестра и снаха

Ој за гором за зеленом
Нешто јасно подврискује,
Баш к'о грло ђевојачко.
Оде момче да обиђе,
Ал' ђевојче савезано
Танком жицом ибришима,
Пак се моли младу момку:
"Одр'јеши ме, млад јуначе,
"Ја ћу тебе сеја бити."
Момче њојзи одговара:
"Имам сеју и код куће." --
"Одр'јеши ме, млад јуначе,
"Ја ћу тебе снаша бити."
Момче њојзи опет вели:
"Имам снашу и код куће." --
"Одр'јеши ме, млад јуначе,
"Ја ћу тебе љуба бити."
Онда момче њу пољуби,
Пољуби је, одр'јеши је,
Одведе је б'јелу двору.

Kapitulation

Hinterm Berge, hinterm grünen,
Tönt ein heller Schrei zu Zeiten,
Knabe gehet hin, zu forschen.
Ist ein Mädchen angebunden
Fest an einem Seidenfädchen.
Und sie fleht zum jungen Knaben:
"Bind mich los, du Heldenjüngling,
Schwesterchen will ich dir sein!"
Aber ihr versetzt der Knabe:
"Hab' 'ne Schwester schon zu Hause!" --
"Bind mich los, du Heldenjüngling,
Schwägerin will ich dir sein!" --
Knabe wiederum entgegnet:
"Hab' 'ne Schwägerin zu Hause!" --
"Binde los mich, Heldenjüngling,
Liebchen will ich dir sein!" --
Und es küßte sie der Knabe,
Küßte sie, und sie erlösend,
Führt' er sie zum weißen Hofe.
