O creator of the world,
That with your usual forbearance
You might be our protector and guard.

May the dreams and ghosts
Of night retreat;
Check our enemy sin
Lest our bodies be polluted.

Grant this most holy Father
and you the One equal with the Father
ruling with the Spirit our advocate
through all ages.
