Sia benedeto 'l verde e chi lo porta, Che mi de verde vôi farme una vesta. De verde va vestida la campagna, De verde va vestido chi me ama. De verde va vestido 'l cacciatore, De verde va vestido lo mio amore. Verde co' verde se confà con tuto: Fora del verde nasse ogni bel fruto.
