Modern sade: "låt det bli till våren;
Våren, Dotter, passar bäst för bröllop;
Även fågeln bygger bo om våren."
Dottren sade: "Hvarför bli till våren,
Hvarför passar våren bäst för bröllop;
Även fågeln bygger bo om våren?
Hvarje årstid, goda moder, passar
Ju för den, som hvarje årstid, älskar."
