La primavera
Language: Italian - Venetian (dialect)
Our translations:  ENG FRE GRE SPA
Giacinti, e violete
Fa in tera baossete1:
Che gusto! che giubilo!
L'inverno è scampà.

La Neve è svania,
La brina è finia,
Xe tepida l'aria,
El sol chiapa fià.

Sgualdina Anzoleto,
Col so cesteleto,
Salata e radichio
I va a sgarugiar.

Vardè la sisila,
La canta, la trila;
El nio la se fabrica,
Tornada dal mar.

Le piegore salta,
S'ingropa, e rebalta...
Che stala? ... sì al pascolo
Co tuti i bebè:

Le guida Tognoto,
Sonando el subioto;
No ocore più l'elera:
Erbeta ghe n'è.

Amici, [fè]2 ciera
Xe qua primavera:
Me 'l dise quel nuvolo...
Sentì! sentì el ton!

Ohimè! che sta idea
El cuor me ricrea,
E tuto desmentego
Quel fredo baron.

Ancora un meseto,
E ['l]3 russignoleto
Col canto ne [sgiozzola]4
Su l'anima el miel.

Stagion deliziosa!
Ti vien co la rosa,
Ti parti col giglio,
Fior degno del ciel.
