El rossinyol es plany i plora, el boscatge mormola voluptuós, tot em parla de la meva estimada: on es troba tan sola? Com que a fora era fosc, jo veia molts esclats resplendents i ara, a plena llum i claror, haig de romandre a les fosques. El sol no hauria d'haver sortit, a dins tot sembla adormit, jo voldria que tot el dia fos nit una altra vegada. L'amor travessa l'aire, atrapa al lluny la meva estimada, més enllà de muntanyes i abismes! I ella tornarà a ser meva!
