En vano busco en la nieve las huellas de sus pasos, cuando ella de mi brazo cruzaba el verde prado. Quisiera besar el suelo, penetrar hielo y nieve con mis ardientes lágrimas, hasta ver la tierra. ¿En dónde encontraré una flor, en dónde hierba verde? Las flores están muertas y el prado está marchito. ¿No he de llevarme pues de aquí ningún recuerdo? ¿Si mis dolores callan, quién me hablará de ella? Mi corazón está helado y fría en él su imagen; si el corazón se fundiese, su imagen también se esfumaría.
