Warum entfernt das funkelnde Gewimmel
Der Brüder sich von deinem Bild?

Sie halten sich von Liebe fern."
 
So solltest du zu ihnen [gehen]²,
Bist du der Liebe, zaudre nicht!
Wer möchte denn dir widerstehen?
Du süßes eigensinnig [Licht]³.

Und bleibe trauernd still daheim."

Stella della sera

 Che indugi tu solitaria in cielo,
 o bella stella? e sei così mite;
 ma perché, allora, lo scintillante brulichio delle consorelle
 resta lontana dalla tua figura? 
 "Io son dell'amore la stella fedele,
 esse si tengono distanti dall'amore." 

 E dunque dovresti andar tu da loro,
 se sei dell'amore, non esitare! 
 chi potrebbe allora resisterti? 
 tu dolce lume testardo. 
 "Io semino ma non vedo alcun germoglio,
 e me ne sto qui intristita, per conto mio."
