A l’alè de primavera es mou l’esperit del Senyor! Guaita! La resurrecció és propera i llunyana. Guaita! La plenitud de la jovenesa, un mar de formosor i un vertigen de delit per tot arreu. Jo miro aquí, jo miro allà i el meu esperit sura cada cop més amunt. El faust, l’or i la fama són només foteses, natura, en el teu santuari! Un averany de cel voleia a l’entorn d’aquell que pot copsar la melodia de l’amor; car, abraçat al teu cor maternal, gaudirà en el propi cel!
