Au repos des parfums obsédants
Montent du jardin de fraîches bouffées
D'herbes qui revivent et de fleurs qui revivent.
Le tumulte des couleurs s'atténue
Sous le voile des gouttes implorées ;
Et autour des peupliers, des frênes, des lauriers
Le sol assoiffé boit avec avidité.
Être une plante, être une feuille, être une tige
Et dans l'angoisse du feu (je pense)
Avoir un si grand réconfort venant du ciel.
penchée sur le rebord de la fenêtre, les arbustes,
