Llovía: por la ventana abierta
En aquella tregua de obstinados olores
subían del jardín ráfagas frescas
de hierbas surtidas y surtidas flores.
Se notaba el tumulto de colores
bajo el velo del goteo imploradas
y en torno a los chopos, fresnos y alcornoques
bebía glotona la hierba asentada.
Ser planta, ser hoja, ser renuevo...
y en la angustia del ardor, pensaba.
Así ha llegado un descanso desde el cielo.
Sobre el alféizar cobijaba a los brezos
las flores, las hierbas miraba
y me batía la lluvia sobre los cabellos.
