        Torvi.

Gli addolorati tronchi
Offron, pregando, i bronchi 
        Nudi.

Come ho freddo!... Son sola;
Pel grigio ciel sospinto 
Un gemito destinto
        Vola;

E mi ripete: Vieni,
È buia la vallata.
O triste, o disamata,
        Vieni!

Llanura.

En lo alto, graznan los cuervos,
Confiados en sus negras alas,
Cruzan los páramos
Torvos.

A las crueles mordeduras del viento
los doloridos troncos presentan,
Rezando, sus 
desnudas ramas.

¡Qué frío tengo! Estoy sola.
Por el cielo gris, con ímpetu
Un nítido gemido
Vuela;

Y me repite: ¡Ven!
Sombrío está el valle,
Oh, triste, oh, malquerida,
¡Ven!
