Language: Russian (Русский)
I vechernej i rannej poroyu Mnogo starcev, i vdov, i sirot Pod okoshkami xodit s sumoyu, Xrista radi na pomoshh` zovyot. Nadevaet li sumku nevolya, Neoxota li vzyat`sya za trud, — Tyazhela i gor`ka tvoya dolya, Bespriyutny'j, oborvanny'j lyud! Ne otkazhut tebe v podayan`e, Ne umryosh` ty' bez krova zimoj, — Zhal` razumnoe Bozh`e sozdan`e, Cheloveka v gryazi i s sumoj! No bednee i xuzhe est` nishhij: Ne pojdyot on prosit` pod oknom, Czely'j vek, iz odezhdy' da pishhi, On rabotaet noch`yu i dnyom. Spit v lachuzhke, na gryaznoj solome, Bogaty'r` v bezy'sxodnoj bede, Krepche kamnya v nesnosnoj istome, Krepche medi v krovavoj nuzhde. Po smert` zyorna on v zemlyu brosaet. Po smert` zhnyot, a nuzhda prodayot; O nyom oblako slyozy' ronyaet. Pro tosku ego burya poyot.
