Warum ist der Lenz so flüchtig, warum ist nicht länger Sommer? Dieses fragte ich mich öfter, fragte, antwortlos, so manchen. Seit der Liebste mich verraten, seine Wärme Eis geworden, sind die Sommer Winter worden, seitdem frage ich nicht weiter, fühlte nur tief im Gemüte, dass das Schöne nicht verweilet, und das Liebliche enteilet.
