Goj-ty, Dnepr! Slushaj, Dnepr! Dnepr ty moj shirokij, goj ty, Dnepr glubokij! Mnogo ty krovi kazach'ej V dal'neje more dal'nej dorogoj nosil, Tol'ko-tol'ko ty morja ne spoil, ty ne spoil! Segodnja dozhdesh'sja, segodnja dozhdesh'sja, shirokij moj Dnepr! Segodnja ot Boga Ukrajnu zhdjot prazdnik, I prazdnik tot strashnyj, i mnogo-mnogo prol'jot ona krovi, Kazak ozhivjot: I vstanut Getmany v odezhdakh parchevykh I budet kak prezhde Ukrajna zhiva; I vdal' po stepi, nad kurganami brat'ev, Na strakh vragam zablestit bulava; I snova kak spojet ne potajno, Privol'no i likho spojet pro Ukrajnu: Svobodna do morja, net ljakhov s zhidami. Dnepr unjos ikh kosti, kosti vrazh'i, krov'ju shljakhetskoj, Krov'ju zhidovskoj dal'neje more on spoil. Stoj, moj Dnepr! slushaj, Dnepr! Skoro ty dozhdesh'sja, skoro ty uymjosh'sja! Stoj, ty, Dnepr!
