zrya Tebe v mertvy'x vmenivshasya,
smertnuyu zhe, Spase, krepost` razorivsha,
i s soboyu Adama vozdvigsha
i ot ana vsya svobozhdsha.

Blagosloven esi, Gospodi, nauchi mya opravdaniem Tvoim.
Pochto mira s milostivny'mi slezami, 
o uchenicy' rastvoryaete? 
Blistayajsya vo grobe, Angel mironosiczam veshhashe:: 
vidite vy' grob i urazumejte: 
Spas bo voskre ot groba.

Mironosicy' zheny', s mnry' prishedshiya ko grobu Tvoemu Spase, ry'daxu.
Angel zhek nim peche, gragolya:
chto s mertvy'mi zhivago pomy'shlya ete?
Yako Bog bo voskrese ot groba.

Slava Otczu i Sy'nu i Svyatomu Duxu.
Poklonimsya Otczu i Ego Sy'novi, i Svyatomu Duxu,
Svyatj Tvoice vo elinom sushhestve,
so serafimy' zovushhe: 
svyat, svyat, svyat esi, Gospodi. 

I nine i prisno i vo veki vekov. Amin`.
Zhiznodavcza rozhdshi, grexa, Devo, Adama izbavila esi.
Radost` zhe Eve v pechali mesto podala esi;
padshiya zhe ot zhizni k sej napravi,
iz Tebe voplotivy'jsya Bog i chelovek.

Note provided by D. Cushing : Traditionally the hymn is performed like a Znammeny Chant, which means that the male choir sings in unison. Znammeny Chant is specifically intended to be sung in "natural voice" which means by an untrained vocalist, in this case a church choir. The unusual changes in key, melody, and timing are supposed to surprise the ear, which surprise better allows the holy truth of the hymn to enter one's heart. The hymn may be performed by a soloist or by a woman for a Burial Service, this hymn being very popular for burials because of its theme of eternal life.
