El til·ler era davant la casa de la meva estimada, vaig sentir grinyolar la porta. El meu tresor deixava sortir la figura d’un home: “No em facis esperar demà; no em facis esperar demà, amor meu, t’estimo tant! Truca fluixet a la finestra, el meu estimat és lluny!” Prou d’abraçades i petons, aimia meva, i tu, bell gallard, vestit de vellut, afanya’t, tu lladre astut, un home t’espera a l’ermàs. Clara brilla la lluna, l’herba verda va bé per al nostre encontre, tu portes una espasa i fas gestos desafiants, jo beneiré les teves amoretes! – I quan aparegué la llum del dia, què es va trobar a l’ermàs?
