lod sangrøst ane.

Angst beskyttende
alfen, som sover,
altid lyttende
gled du henover.

Men sidste mødet,
da eder og øjne
var lønlige løgne,
ja da, da lød det!

I toners føden
du slutted din bane.
Du sang i døden;
du var dog en svane!

白鳥

押し黙り、静かな白鳥 
感情の迸りも 軽やかな心の震えも 
その歌声に秘めたまま

不安げに身を守り
眠る妖精
いつも聞き耳をたて
滑るように逃げてゆく

だが最後の出会いで
誓いと眼差しが
秘められた偽りとなった時
そう、その時、白鳥は歌った!

歌が生まれ
白鳥は生涯を終えた
それは最期の歌
まさに白鳥であった!
