        Opjat' v moej duše trevogi i mečty,
I l'etsja skorbnyj stich, bessonnicy otrada...
O, rvi ich poskorej — poslednie cvety
  Iz moego pobleknuvšego sada!
Ich mnogo sožženo slučajnoju grozoj,
     Razmyto rannimi doždjami,
A osen' blizitsja neslyšnoju stopoj
S nočami chmurymi, s bessolnečnymi dnjami.
  Už veter vyl cholodnyj po nočam,
Suchimi list'jami dorožki pokryvaja;
  Uže k dalekim, teplym nebesam
Promčalas' žuravlej zabotlivaja staja,
I meždu lipami, iz-za nagich vetvej
Skvozit zloveščee, černejuščee pole...
Poslednie cvety somknulisja tesnej...
     O, rvi že, rvi že ich skorej,
Daj im chot' den' ešče prožit' v teple i chole!
