Das Kätzchen
Language: German (Deutsch)
Kam ein Kätzchen angesprungen
so den Wiesenrain entlang,
hört es eines kecken Jungen
schmetternd hellen Lustgesang.

Und das Kätzchen schlich zur Seite
über Stock und über Stein,
suchte schleunigst dann das Weite
links vom grünen Wiesenrain.

Kam ein Mädchen angegangen
ganz genau denselben Steg,
braunes Haar, verbrannte Wangen,
trat der Bursch ihr in den Weg,

fanden bald ein heimlich Plätzchen
o du wunderschöner Mai!
Ja, das Mädel war kein Kätzchen
deshalb kam es nicht vorbei!
