Bonic país estranger

Les capçades dels arbres remoregen i tremolen,
com si, a aquesta hora,
al voltant dels murs mig enderrocats,
els antics déus fessin la ronda.

Aquí, darrera les murtres,
en la recòndita esplendor crepuscular,
confusament, com en somnis, què em vols dir,
tu, nit fantasmagòrica? 

Al meu damunt espurnegen totes les estrelles
amb un ardent esguard amorós,
èbria, em parla la llunyania,
com d’una futura, gran benaurança!
