Ins Haus des Totengräbers
Language: German (Deutsch)
Available translation(s): CAT ENG FRE ITA
Tenor-solo:
Ins Haus des Totengräbers
Fallt durch die Fensterlein,
Umrankt vom Efeugitter
Der holde Morgenschein.
Es weckt mit leisem Grusse
Der Greis die Pilgerin.
Rose:
Hab' Dank für deine Güte,
Nun will ich weiter zieh'n,
Und woll' die Hande legen
Aufs Haupt, mein Vater, mir,
Beglückt mit deinem Segen,
Nur so geh' ich von dir.
Totengräber:
O glücklich, dreimal glücklich ist,
Wer dich als seine Tochter küsst,
Hör' meine Bitte: folge mir,
Ich gebe treue Eltern dir.
Tenor-solo:
Die Rose sinkt an seine Brust,
Sie grüsst des Lebens erste Lust.

A casa de l’enterrador
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
Tenor solo:
A casa de l’enterrador,
a través de la finestra,
coberta d’emparrat d’heura,
hi penetra l’encisadora llum del matí.
Amb una suau salutació
desperta l’ancià i la pelegrina.
La rosa:
T’agraeixo la teva bondat,
però ara haig de seguir el meu viatge,
i si volguessis, pare meu, posar
damunt el meu cap les teves mans,
jo, joiosa amb la teva benedicció,
m’acomiadaria de tu.
L’enterrador:
Oh feliç, tres vegades feliç
qui et besa com la seva filla,
escolta la meva petició: segueix-me
i et donaré uns pares lleials.
Tenor solo:
La rosa s’abalança al seu pit
i acull el primer goig de la seva vida.
