Ich will ja nicht zum Garten gehn
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations: CAT ENG FRE
"Ich will ja nicht [zum]1 Garten gehn,
Will liegen sommerlang,
[Hört' ich die lust'ge]2 Drossel nur,
Die in dem Busche sang."
Man fängt dem Kind die Drossel ein,
Im Käfig sitzt sie dort,
Doch singen will sie nicht und hängt
Ihr Köpfchen immerfort.
Noch einmal blickt das Kind nach ihr
Mit bittendem Gesicht,
Da schlägt die Drossel schön und hell,
Da glänzt sein Aug' und bricht.

El tord
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
“No vull anar al jardí,
vull jeure aquí tot l’estiu
i tan sols escoltar l’alegre tord
que canta als matossars.”
Per a l’infant capturen el tord
i allà està en una gàbia,
però ara no vol cantar
i sempre té el cap cot.
Un cop encara l’infant l’esguarda
amb un rostre suplicant,
llavors el tord canta fort i joliu,
llavors brillen els seus ulls i s’apaguen.
