Wit als watte, en tenegader groen, is 't bonte abeelgeblader. Wakker, als een wekkerspel, wikkelwakkel waait het snel. Groen van boven is't en, zonder minke, wit als melk, vanonder. Onstandvastig volgt het, gans, 't onstandvastig windgedans. Wisselbeurtig, op en neder, slaat het, als een vogelveder. Wit en grauw, zo, door de lucht, 'bont-abeelt' de duivenvlucht.
