Ja, er freit sie, ich vergehe! O verruchter Bösewicht! Si el meu pressentiment no m’enganya, es manifestarà un, aquell que em penso, fabulós! Ja arriba, ell, l’únic, la sota de cors coneixia el seu deure. Una vídua rica? – Ai! Sí, es vol casar amb ella, em moro! Oh, infame malvat! Penes del cor i molta desplaença, una escola i parets angostes, el rei de diamants que m’ha de plànyer i finalment m’ha de consolar. Un regal amb tota cortesia, se m’emporta – un viatge – diners i plaer en abundància! Aquest rei de diamants deu ser allà un príncep o un rei i faltaria ben poc per ser jo mateixa princesa. Aquí hi ha un enemic que per perjudicar-me malda davant la seva Altesa, i a prop meu hi ha un home ros. Un secret surt a la llum, i m’escapo just a temps, adéu, grandeses!
