Hauptmann, Oberstlieutenant,
Wir Soldaten wollen marschiren.

Es wird uns ja die Zeit so lang
In der verdammten Ki, Ko, Ka,
  In der Kasern zu liegen.
Des Abends schon um halber neuen,
Da ist mein Mädel ganz allein.
Corporal, Sergeant,
Hauptmann, Oberstlieutenant,
Wir Soldaten wollen marschiren.

Ich stieg wohl aus dem Fenster 'naus,

El temps se’ns fa tan llarg de restar
al maleït Ki, Ko, Ka,
a la caserna.
Al vespre, a dos quarts de nou
la meva noia es queda sola.
Caporal, sergent,
capità, tinent coronel,
nosaltres soldats, volem sortir de marxa.

M’he escapat per la finestra
del maleït Ki, Ko, Ka,
per sortir de la caserna.
