Nie pytaja o to wrogi Kto ginie Czy jest sercom ludzkim drogi Czy płacz siostry zanim płynie Czy umiera Matka z trwogi Kiedy pyta śmierci srogiej Kto ginie. Er steht nun in blanken Waffen, O Himmel! Todeshand wird weg ihn raffen, Kühler Wind sein Grab umwehen. Nichts vermögen meine Tränen, Nichts der Schutz des Liebesengels, O Himmel!
