El trist hivern s’ha acabat,
tornen les orenetes,
ara tot es belluga de nou,
s’acreixen les fonts.
D’esquitllada, surt el fullatge a la llum del dia,
adés apareixen les floretes;
voltant com petites serps, corren somrient
els frescos rierols al bosc.
Arreu on hom esguarda, gairebé tot el món
es disposa per a la gaubança;
tot és a punt per esplaiar-se
i quasi tot prospera en el goig.
Només jo sol, pateixo la pena,
patiré eternament:
des que tu de mi i jo de tu,
oh estimada, ens vam haver de separar.
