J'ai peur d'être trahie Par un espion de la ville ; Je suis effrayée par le bruit De chaque feuille de peuplier. Je souhaite retourner À ces plaisirs fugitifs ; À chaque instant Je sens le baiser du départ. Cela me rend heureuse et anxieuse, Comme si tes bras m'embrassaient, Comme si mes joues encore une fois Étaient mouillées par tes dernières larmes !
