Solche Düfte sind mein Leben,
Die verscheuchen all mein Leid:
Blühen auf dem Berg die Reben,
Blüht im Tale das Getreid.

Donnern werden bald die Tennen,
Bald die Mühlen rauschend gehn,
Und wenn die sich müde rennen,
Werden sich die Keltern drehn.

Gute Wirtin vieler Zecher!
So gefällt mir's, flink und frisch;
Kommst du mit dem Wein im Becher,
Liegt das Brot schon auf dem Tisch.

Ces arômes sont ma vie,
Ils chassent toutes mes peines :
Les vignes fleurissent sur les monts,
Les céréales mûrissent dans les vallées.

Les aires de battage vont bientôt tonner,
Avant peu les moulins vont ronronner
Et quand ceux-ci seront fatigués,
Les pressoirs tourneront.

Gentille hôtesse de maints buveurs !
Tu me plais ainsi, vive et fraiche ;
Viens avec du vin dans le gobelet,
Le pain est déjà sur la table.
