Saa dirred ogsaa de Nerver til Ro, 
Og Sandserne alle blev blinde. 
Og [Hjertet og Hjernen]1 virker ej mer, 
Du er kun [Støv nu og]2 livløst Ler. 
Lad længes, lad grædes med Evighedssavn, 
Der er kun en [Stofhob]3, en Daad og et Navn. 

For alle gode Tanker de kan slet ikke dø, 
Før endnu bedre Tanker er spired af deres Frø.
