Auf dem Rhein
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT DUT ENG FRE ITA
Auf deinem Grunde haben
Sie an verborgnem Ort
Den goldnen Schatz begraben,
Der Nibelungen Hort.

Ihn wahren deine Wellen
Bis an den Jüngsten Tag,
Zu der geheimen Stellen
Kein Räuber dringen mag.

Mir ward ins Herz gesenket
Ein Schatz, gleich wie dem Rhein,
Er ist darin ertränket,
Wird ewig drinnen sein.

Op de Rijn
Language: Dutch (Nederlands)  after the German (Deutsch)
Ver weg van elke haven
Ligt, in jouw schoot gevat,
De gouden schat begraven,
De Nibelungenschat.

Haar schildwacht zijn jouw golven
Tot aan de jongste dag,
Heel diep ligt zij bedolven,
Geen rover haar ooit zag.

Mij ligt in 't hart verzonken
Een schat als in de Rijn,
Zij is daarin verdronken,
Zal eeuwig daarin zijn.
