Hinter Bäumen berg ich mich
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  FRE
Bis meine Augen ausgeregnet haben,

Und halte sie tief verschlossen,
Daß niemand dein Bild schaut.

Ich schlang meine Arme um dich
Wie Gerank.

Bin doch mit dir verwachsen,
Warum reißt du mich von dir?

Ich schenkte dir die Blüte
Meines Leibes,

Alle meine Schmetterlinge
Scheuchte ich in deinen Garten.

Immer ging ich durch Granaten,
Sah durch dein Blut

Die Welt überall brennen
Vor Liebe.

Nun aber schlage ich mit meiner Stirn
Meine Tempelwände düster.

O du falscher Gaukler,
Du spanntest ein loses Seil.

Wie kalt mir alle Grüße sind,
Mein Herz liegt bloß,

Mein rot Fahrzeug
Pocht grausig.

Bin immer auf See
Und lande nicht mehr.

Je me cache derrière des arbres
Language: French (Français)  after the German (Deutsch)
Jusqu'à ce que cesse la pluie de mes yeux,

Et je les tiens bien fermés
Pour que personne ne voie ton image.

J'ai noué mes bras autour de toi
Comme des sarments.

Je me suis si bien attachée à toi,
Pourquoi m'arraches-tu de toi ?

Je t'ai offert les fleurs
De mon corps,

Tous mes papillons,
Je les ai chassés dans ton jardin.

J'ai toujours marché parmi les grenades,
À travers ton sang, j'ai vu

Partout le monde brûler
D'amour.

Mais maintenant je cogne mon front
Sur les sombres murs de mon temple.

Ô toi, faux saltimbanque
Tu as établi une corde trop molle.

Comme toutes les paroles me sont froides,
Mon cœur gît nu,

Mon navire rouge
Palpite horriblement.

Je serai toujours en mer
Et ne toucherai plus terre.
