The snow’s melting, streams are flowing, Through the window wafts a breath of spring… Soon nightingales will be singing, And the forest will dress in leaves! The sky is clear light blue, The sun grows warmer and brighter; It’s time for winds and blizzards To depart for a long time. And my heart, loudly in my chest Beats, as though waiting for something; As if happiness lies ahead, And will banish winter cares! Every face looks glad. “Spring!" You can read it in every glance; And each, as if in celebration, looks happy, Even he whose life is only hard work and grief. But the laughter of frisky kids And the carefree birdsong Tell me who most Loves the rejuvenating of nature!
