Esguardo a la tranquil•la vall,
on, a la llum del sol,
incomptables flors resplendeixen,
però jo només en miro una.
Ai, ara els seus ulls blaus
esguarden també la prada,
entre els miosotis plens de rosada,
els puc ben veure.
Ella:
Vaig a la meva petita finestra
quan brillen els estels,
encara que tots siguin formosos,
només en miro un.
Allà, al capvespre, ell sens dubte,
esguarda dolçament vers el cel,
car allà la seva estimada imatge
es veu reflectida a l’estel.
