by Franz Evers (1871 - 1947)

Am Schlehdorn, am Schlehdorn
Language: German (Deutsch)
Am Schlehdorn, am Schlehdorn --
Wißt ihr, wo der steht?
Da sprach der Hirtenknabe
Sein Morgengebet.
Trieb die Schafe dann auf die Weide
Hin durch den sonnigen Raum;
Über die blühende Heide
Träumte sein junger Traum.

Am Schlehdorn, am Schlehdorn --
Wißt ihr, wo der steht?
Da sprach eine junge Dirne
Ihr Abendgebet.
Und der Wind kam von der Heiden
Und küßte ihres Kleides Saum ..
Die beiden, die beiden
Träumten den ersten Traum.
