Requiem
Language: German (Deutsch)
Our translations:  CAT FRE
    Seele, vergiß sie nicht,
    Seele, vergiß nicht die Toten!

Sieh' sie umschweben dich,
schauernd verlassen,
und in den heiligen Gluten,
die den Armen die Liebe schürt,
atmen sie auf und erwarmen
und genießen zum letzten Mal
ihr verglimmendes Leben.

    Seele, vergiß sie nicht,
    Seele, vergiß nicht die Toten!

Sieh, sie umschweben dich,
schauernd, verlassen,
und wenn du dich erkaltend
ihnen verschließest, [so]1 erstarren sie
bis hinein in das Tiefste!
Dann ergreift sie der Sturm der Nacht,
dem sie zusammengekrampft
in sich trotzten im Schoß der Liebe.
Und er jagt sie mit Ungestüm
durch die [unendliche]2 Wüste hin,
wo nicht Leben mehr ist,
nur Kampf losgelassener Kräfte,
[nur Kampf um erneuertes]3 Sein.

    Seele, vergiß sie nicht,
    vergiß nicht die Toten!

Rèquiem
Language: Catalan (Català)  after the German (Deutsch)
     Ànima, no els oblidis,
     ànima, no oblidis els morts!

Esguarda, suren al teu entorn,
esglaiats, abandonats,
i en el sagrat fervor
que l’amor fomenta en els pobres,
ells respiren i s’escalfen
i gaudeixen per darrera vegada
de llur vida que s’extingeix.

     Ànima, no els oblidis,
     ànima, no oblidis els morts!

Esguarda, suren al teu entorn,
esglaiats, abandonats,
i si amb fredor
et tanques a ells, aleshores es corgelen
fins al més profund d’ells mateixos!
Llavors els atrapa la tempesta de la nit
que ells, tots junts apinyats,
desafiaren en el si de l’amor.
I furient, la tempesta els encalça
en un desert infinit
on ja no hi ha vida,
només un combat de forces desfermades,
només una lluita per una renovada existència.

     Ànima no els oblidis,
     no oblidis els morts!
