Gdzie w czarach wino purpurowe lśni!

Spójrzcie, jak w kielichu tysiąc gwiazd się iskrzy!
Blask wina chłonie myśli mroczne głębie!

Chcę życia tajnie wam objawić:
najgłębsza mądrość wina boski czar! 

Niech pełnej czary dotkną wasze usta 
W wina słodyczy leży prawdy głąb!

Precz! Precz mi z myśli obłudną rozkoszą!
Życiem jest wina czar! Kielich mi daj!
