Gdzie w czarach wino purpurowe lśni!

Spójrzcie, jak w kielichu tysiąc gwiazd się iskrzy!
Blask wina chłonie myśli mroczne głębie!

Chcę życia tajnie wam objawić:
najgłębsza mądrość wina boski czar! 

Niech pełnej czary dotkną wasze usta 
W wina słodyczy leży prawdy głąb!

Precz! Precz mi z myśli obłudną rozkoszą!
Życiem jest wina czar! Kielich mi daj!

La sagesse la plus profonde est la charme divin du vin !

Que votre bouche touche une coupe pleine,
dans la douceur du vin repose la profondeur de la vérité !

Au loin ! loin de moi les pensées cafardeuses par la volupté !
Le charme du vin est la vie ! Donne-moi la coupe !
