Der Himmel ist so sternenklar;
Am [Anker]1 ruht im sichern Hafen
Das Schiff geboren vor Gefahr.
 
So laß auch mich nach Kampf und Schmerzen
An deiner Brust vor [Anker]1 gehen,
Und [blick']2 ich auf von deinem Herzen,
Den Himmel dir im Auge sehn.
