2. Marias Kirchgang

Maria woll't zur Kirche gehn, da kam sie an den tiefen See. Als sie wohl an den See hinkam, der Schiffmann jung stand fertig da. "Ach, Schiffmann, schiff mich über das Meer, ich geb' dir was dein Herz begehrt". "Ich schiffe dich wohl über das Meer, wenn du willst meine Hausfrau sein". Soll ich erst deine Hausfrau sein, viel lieber schwimm'ich über das Meer". Als sie wohl in die Mitte kam, fingen alle Glöcklein zu läuten an. Sie läuten gross, sie läuten klein, sie läuteten wohl alle zugleich. Maria kniet auf einen Stein, dem Schiffmann sprang sein Herz entzwei.

2. María va a la iglesia

Iba María a la iglesia cuando llegó al profundo lago. Una vez hubo llegado al lago, encontró allí dispuesto al joven barquero. «Oh, barquero, crúzame al otro lado del lago y te daré lo que tu corazón desea». «Te llevaré al otro lado del lago si quieres ser la señora de mi casa.» «Antes que ser señora de tu casa, prefiero cruzar el lago a nado.» Cuando llegó al centro, todas las campanas comenzaron a repicar. Repicaron las grandes, repicaron las pequeñas, todas repicaron a un tiempo. María se arrodilló sobre una roca. Al barquero se le partió en dos el corazón.

3. Marias Wallfahrt

Maria ging aus wandern, so fern ins fremde Land, bis sie Gott den Herren fand. Sie hat ihn schon gefunden wohl vor des Herodes Haus, er sah so betrüblich aus. Das Kreuz, das musst' er tragen nach Jerusalem vor die Stadt, wo er gemartet ward. Was trug er auf seinem Haupte? Ein' scharfe Dornenkron'; das Kreuz, das trägt er schon. Daran soll man bedenken, ein jeder jung or alt, dass das Himmelreich leidet Gewalt!

3. La peregrinación de María
Language: Spanish (Español)
María salió a vagar muy lejos, en tierra extraña, hasta que encontró a Dios nuestro Señor. Lo encontró por fin justo ante la casa de Herodes. Parecía desconsolado. Tenía que acarrear la cruz hasta Jerusalén, fuera de la ciudad, donde fue martirizado. ¿Qué llevaba en la cabeza? Una corona de aceradas espinas. La cruz ya la cargaba. ¡Considere todo el mundo, jóvenes o viejos, que el Reino de los cielos sufre violencia!

4. Der Jäger

Es wollt' gut Jäger jagen, wollt' jagen von Himmelshöhn; was begegn't ihm auf der Heiden? Maria, die Jungfrau schön. Der Jäger, den ich meine, der ist uns wohlbekannt, er jagt mit einem Engel, Gabriel ist er genannt. Der Engel blies sein Hörnlein, das laut' sich also wohl: "Gegrüsst seist du, Maria, du bist aller Gnaden voll! Gegrüsst seist du, Maria, du edle Jungfrau fein! Dein Schoß soll hegen und tragen ein Kindlein zart und klein. Dein Schoß soll hegen und tragen ein Kindlein zart und klein, das Himmel und auch Erden einmals wird nehmen ein". Maria, die vielreine, fiel nieder auf ihre Knie, dann sie bat Gott von Himmel, sein Will' geschehen soll. Dein Will', der soll geschehen ohn sonder Pein und Schmerz. Da empfing sie Jesum Christum in ihr jungfräulich Herz.

4. El cazador
Language: Spanish (Español)
Un buen cazador quería cazar, quería cazar desde lo alto del cielo. ¿Y a quién se encuentra en el brezal? A María, la hermosa virgen. El cazador al que me refiero es bien conocido por nosotros. Caza con un ángel. Gabriel es su nombre. El ángel tocó su cuerno, que muy bien resonó: «¡Dios te salve, María, llena eres de gracia! »¡Dios te salve, María, oh noble virgen! Tu vientre albergará y dará a luz a un tierno y pequeño niño. »Tu vientre albergará y dará a luz a un tierno y pequeño niño que el cielo y también la tierra algún día conquistará». La purísima María cayó postrada de rodillas, rogando a Dios en el cielo que se hiciera Su voluntad. Hágase Tu voluntad sin ningún dolor o sufrimiento. Entonces concibió a Jesucristo en su corazón virginal.

An dem österlichen Tag Maria Magdalena ging zu dem Grab; was fand sie in dem Grabe stehn? Einen Engel wohlgetan. Der Engel grüsst sie in der Zeit: "Den da suchet das vielselige Weib, er ist erstanden von dem Tod, den du salben wolltest". "Maria!" ruft er ihr zu hant, da erkennt sie ihren Heiland, sie sah in aller der Gebärde, sann er ein Wärter wäre.

El día de la Pascua María Magdalena fue al sepulcro. ¿A quién encontró ante el sepulcro? A un hermoso ángel. El ángel la saludó al punto: «Aquel a quien la bendita mujer busca ha resucitado de la muerte, Aquel a quien querías ungir». «¡María!», la interpeló. Entonces ella reconoció a su Salvador. Al ver sus ademanes pensó que era un guardián.

7. Marias Lob

Maria, wahre Himmelsfreud', der Welt Ergötzlichkeit! Wer wollt' dich nicht lieben? Du stehst mir geschrieben, ja mir gegraben mit tiefen Buchstaben in meinem Herzelein! Wie schmelzet ein Karfunkelstein im Lorbeerkränzelein, so geht es mir eben, mein' Seel' und mein Leben vor Lieb' sich zertrennen und in sich verbrennen bei deinem Nennen! Der ganzen Schöpfung reiche Zier vergleicht sich nicht mit dir. Es dürfen die Blumen ihr' Schönheit nicht rühmen, sie müssen sich schämen, du tuest benehmen all' ihre Zierlichkeit. Des Himmels Sternenangesicht und aller Sonnen Licht, samt Edelgesteinen, sie dürfen nicht scheinen, die Perlen, Korallen, Gold, Silber, sie fallen vor dir in Finsternis. Maria, o mein' höchste Freud', die Welt ist mir verleidt, ich suche zu sterben; du woll'st mir erwerben nur Gottes Gnaden, auf höheren Pfaden so scheid' ich fröhlich hin.

7. Alabanza a María

¡María, verdadero gozo celestial, deleite del mundo! ¿Quién no te amara? ¡Te llevo inscrita, sí, esculpida con letras profundas en mi corazón! ¡Como se funde un carbunclo en la corona de laurel, así es como me siento! ¡Mi alma y mi vida se derriten de amor, y arden y se consumen ante tu nombre! La ricas galas de toda la creación no pueden compararse contigo. Las flores no pueden gloriarse de su belleza. Han de avergonzarse, pues haces que palidezca toda su hermosura. La bóveda estrellada del cielo y la luz de todos los soles, junto con las piedras preciosas, son incapaces de brillar. Las perlas, corales, el oro y la plata se sumen ante ti en la oscuridad. María, oh mi suprema alegría, el mundo me asquea, busco morir. Solo con que ganes para mí la gracia de Dios, por más altos caminos partiré felizmente.
