Niña si a la huerta vas
Language: Spanish (Español)
Niña si a la huerta vas,
coge las flores mas bellas
aunque si tu estás entre ellas,
a ti misma escogeras.

Conociendo tu valor,
tu grandeza, y excelencia,
qualquier flor en tu presencia
perderá de su color.

Y assi si a la huerta vas
y has de coger flores bellas,
por ser tu la mejor dellas,
a ti misma escogeras.

Tus labios le quitarán
a a rosa su belleza,
pues donde tu gracia empieça
las de otras acabarán.

Y si ya dispuesta estás
de yr a coger flores bellas,
si tu estuuieres entre ellas
a ti misma escogeras.

Wenn du zu den Blumen gehst
(Sung text for setting by A. Dietrich)
 Matches base text
Language: German (Deutsch)  after the Spanish (Español)
Our translations:  CAT ENG FRE
Wenn du zu den Blumen gehst,
pflücke die schönsten, dich zu schmücken.
Ach, wenn du in dem Gärtlein stehst,
müßtest du dich selber pflücken.

Alle Blumen wissen ja,
daß du hold bist ohne gleichen.
Und die Blume, die dich sah --
Farb' und Schmuck muß ihr erbleichen.

Wenn du zu den Blumen gehst,
pflücke die schönsten, dich zu schmücken.
Ach, wenn du in dem Gärtlein stehst,
müßtest du dich selber pflücken.

Lieblicher als Rosen sind die Küße,
die dein Mund verschwendet,
weil der Reiz der Blumen endet,
wo dein Liebreiz erst beginnt.

Wenn du zu den Blumen gehst,
pflücke die schönsten, dich zu schmücken.
Ach, wenn du in dem Gärtlein stehst,
müßtest du dich selber pflücken.
