Noggin, noggin, don’t whimper,
stay brave, stay sprightly,
support two good pillars under you,
timbered wholly of patience!
Hope shimmers,
however aggravated you are
and you suffer.
You must not greviously	 
take anything to heart,
especially not a failry tale
that stands your hair on end;
God forbid that
and St. Christopher forbid it!
