Che m'è 'ntrata una spina in chesto piede.
Rimiro in qua, in là; miro per tutto:
Non c'è nessuno che mi voglia bene.
Ci fosse almeno un po' di vecchierello
Che mi volesse un po' di bene chello!
Ti dico e tu m'intendi per diletto
Un vecchierello fusse del mi' tempo.
Ti dico: e tu m'intendi per affanni,
un vecchierello di quattordici anni.
